Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 2026-06-20
ThinkUp is a coupon and deal discovery site. We want to be clear about how we make money and what that means for you.
What Is Affiliate Marketing?
ThinkUp participates in affiliate programs operated by merchants and affiliate networks. When you click certain links on ThinkUp — including coupon reveal links, "Get Deal" buttons, and store links — you are redirected to the merchant's website via an affiliate-tagged URL.
If you make a purchase on the merchant's website after clicking one of these links, ThinkUp may earn a commission. This commission is paid by the merchant, not by you. The price you pay at checkout is exactly the same whether you arrive via ThinkUp or navigate directly to the merchant's site.
FTC Disclosure (US Visitors)
In compliance with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose that ThinkUp earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through affiliate links on this site. This relationship may influence which stores and offers we feature, but it does not affect the editorial independence of our coupon data — codes are listed because they are (or were recently) valid, not because of the size of the commission.
EU and UK Disclosure
In compliance with applicable EU and UK consumer law, including Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices and the UK Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, ThinkUp discloses its commercial relationship with merchants. The presence of an affiliate link indicates a commercial relationship that may result in a payment to ThinkUp if you make a purchase.
What This Means for You
- No extra cost: affiliate commissions come from the merchant's marketing budget. You pay the same price.
- No editorial bias on code validity: we do not list codes we know to be expired just because a merchant pays us. Community votes (worked / didn't work) surface stale codes.
- Transparency: the "Affiliate" disclosure chip on every page is a reminder that outbound links may earn us a commission.
Which Links Are Affiliate Links?
All coupon reveal links, "Get Deal" links, and store links on ThinkUp may be affiliate-tagged. Not every merchant has an active affiliate relationship with us — in those cases the link is a plain outbound link with no commission.
Partner Agreements
ThinkUp works with affiliate networks and direct merchant partners. The terms of each affiliate agreement may vary. Partner ToS require that clicks on affiliate links be user-initiated (you click the button). ThinkUp does not use automatic redirects on page load.
